Content Analyst, Contract

The Content Analyst supports the content lifecycle including generating new information, editing, testing, translating, loading into websites, and ongoing updates and maintenance. They work closely with the Product Managers and Access Services Analyst to run and develop best in class digital services.


  • Create and maintain editorial calendar for Growing Up NYC and Generation NYC content updates.
  • Manage Growing Up and Generation content, including: monthly event posting, site alerts, seasonal trips.
  • Write new content in plain language.
  • Lead the workflow for content translation, validation, and entry.
  • Develop testing plans that will ensure overall quality assurance of digital products.
  • Perform and coordinate testing activities including develop and run system test scripts and track defect/fixes.
  • Collaborate with design, development, and product management team members to conduct usability testing and field research.
  • Collaborate with agencies and Access Services Analyst to keep all program information up to date in the Benefits and Programs API.
  • Generate monthly and quarterly reports for web analytics and help desk.
  • Work with product manager on user communications, including newsletter and site alerts.
  • In partnership with Access Services Analyst, maintain relationship with agency partners and CBOs, including documenting interactions and changes.
  • Perform duties as assigned by the Director, Design and Product and Product Managers.

  Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in or equivalent preferred with 1-2 years of experience in communications, copywriting, or content management.
